For one week in May, 2003, thirteen students and I shared a unique opportunity for experiential learning in this tropical nation whose conservation ethic has become a world model.

Everyone contributed to this website and we are happy to share our experiences with you. We hope this site captures at least a little of the wonder and excitement we all experienced during this intensive class of tropical exploration.
